I stopped using midi to control Multirack because of the "wake up time" lag and the fact that the values don't update when changing plugins as you noted.

Thanks!I would love to know if there is a solution as well. But I'm HAPPY to use some sort of software midi interface to make it work. If I can do this natively, that would be awesome. So, so many programs let you do this but I cannot seem to figure it out in Multirack. It would be cool if say, encoder 1 was at "250hz" on the Q6 plugin on the kick drum but then when I switched to the snare, where encoder 1 is at "160hz," the encoder moved to match the "160hz" position. It's really frustrating having to latch the encoder every time I want to change a parameter. Ive asked a few different places and all have responded with deafening silence.

Lately I have inserted the X-WSG Soundgrid interface card into the X32, doing comparing measurments again (only native, since I do not have a Soundgrid Server yet). Keep in mind, that 1.03ms of the 7.7ms are used by X32 stage box SD16 anaolg IN to analog OUT. All I really want is for my encoders to move in relation to the plugin currently being viewed. where Multirack was using somewhat less CPU performance. What's been frustrating me recently is the fact that I can't, for the life of me, get multirack to send midi BACK to the X32. 4 encoders, each on a different page control all of my fx parameters and the buttons control rack navigation, hot racks, in/out, etc. At the moment I have all of my assign section encoders and buttons mapped to control the multirack. I use waves multirack native on a mid 2012 MacBook Pro with the built in USB card on the X32. I've asked a few different places and all have responded with deafening silence.
